Wow, it has been forever since I last blogged here. My apologies to all those 'faithful' readers out there (Ha!). However, to start things off, I wanted to post my prediction for the upcoming election as I did in that abhorrent post 4 years ago. If you may remember, I boldly predicted the election of Hillary Clinton and subsequently had to eat my words.
So, here goes...my prediction!
I have no 'flippin' idea. I really don't.
I retain amazement at all my acquaintances that support the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. I find him repulsive and reprehensible. However, I acknowledge that I have gone against the grain of the electorate of my country for so long now that I begin to wonder if I am of the clueless. I hope not. But the evidence in my favor is elusive. I do not think I have voted for the winning candidate in decades.
That being said... for the good of this great country...rather than predict...I sincerely hope that good sense prevails and that President Donald Trump is not reelected next month. I think he is a very weak leader, a habitual liar, a megalomaniac and a narcissist, a bigot and a hedonistic misogynist. Indeed, he is the worse thing that could ever happen to the Presidency of the United States. Please, if you read this and feel that you must vote for him...as the greater of two evils...please just don't vote at all. Let it go.
